You may have noticed pipe and construction equipment in front of Atlas County Park. The reason for this is the Genesee County Drain Commissioner's Office is performing work on the Goodrich Drain, East of the Atlas County Park, from the Kearsley Creek to a point East of the High School track. This work is being performed by petition to replace an undersized County Drain installed in the 1890's that is causing flooding in the upper portion to the Goodrich Drainage District.

Additional information can be found on the Genesee County Drain Commissioner's Office Surface Water Management Division Website at http://www.gcdcswm.com.
