Secretary Benson was very pleased to attend the The Northern Oakland County Branch NAACP’s Freedom Fund Dinner last night. In her keynote, she challenged the 400+ present to use their voice and all of Michigan’s new voting rights, including no excuse absentee voting, same-day voter registration and, now, early voting.
She was introduced by her Senior Advisor Heaster Wheeler to a rousing applause and she brought the audience to their feet several times.
