🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that the Covington County Child Advocacy Center has entered into a partnership with Florala Mayor Jeff Burleson and the Florala City Council! Through this partnership, we will soon have an office in the city of Florala where we can provide much-needed counseling services to children and families in the community.

This is a huge step forward in meeting the needs of the children and families we serve and helping alleviate the transportation barrier for those who currently have to travel to our Andalusia office to receive services.

In celebration of this exciting milestone, our Multidisciplinary Team held its October meeting at the Florala Municipal Building and had the opportunity to tour the space that will soon become a place of support, healing, and hope for children and families in the Florala community.

We are incredibly grateful to Mayor Jeff Burleson and the Florala City Council for their partnership, their vision, and their commitment to meeting the needs of our precious children. We look forward to all that this partnership will accomplish for the families of Florala! Together, we are bringing hope and healing closer to home.

The special called Florala City Council meeting scheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m. has been rescheduled for Wednesday (Tomorrow) at 6:30 p.m.
Councilwoman Wallace-Patton, Councilman Carter, and Councilwoman Franklin have notified the City that they are unable to attend tonight’s meeting therefore causing a lack of Quorum.
I wanted to make sure the public was aware of the change and the reason for it.
