What a beautiful reunion, seeing so many generations come together in Floresville to celebrate the Gregorio and Ana Esparza Family Reunion and keep their history alive. It was an honor to attend the Celebrating America event at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home here in Floresville. 🇺🇸

Spending time with our veterans and residents was a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices that have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Thank you to all of our veterans for your service, courage, and dedication. We are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙

It was great seeing so many local families and visitors from around Wilson County come out and enjoy Freedom Fest. From the carnival, vendors, live performances, basketball games, and first-ever rodeo events to the beautiful fireworks show, there was something for all ages as we celebrated our country’s 250th anniversary together.

I got to meet Eliza, a talented young cowgirl who showed off some impressive horse tricks, and Marco, a gifted local accordion player and Rising Star Ambassador for Texas accordion traditions.

A big Thank You! to all of the local artists who performed, the vendors, City of Floresville staff, Floresville Police Department, local emergency services, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day such a success while continuing to serve our community throughout the holiday weekend.

It was a full day of fun, community, and Floresville pride!
