ARRL BOARD MEETING REPORT
Dr. Carol KP4MD and I will have a review, summary and comment on the July ARRL Board of Director's Meeting. You can read the minutes at https://www.arrl.org/board-meetings
I'll be announcing our Summer Signals Membership Drive where you can earn ARRL Merchandise and other great gifts just by promoting ARRL Membership to your non-member friends and new hams. We will also report on changes in the Club Commission Program to help clubs promote ARRL Membership more easily.
We will answer questions on Year of the Club and other initiatives that the Board worked on in the July Meeting.
PACIFICON
We are officially less than 60 days to the start of Pacificon 2026.
Pacificon will open on Friday, October 16th with the best Antenna Seminar you can attend! Some of the best engineers and amateur
operators in antenna design and propagation will be on hand to train you on how to get radioactive and get your signals out. The Vendor Halls open at 1500 hours! There are some great programs Friday "after hours" you don't want to miss!
Saturday, October 17th starts early with Breakfast with Gordo! Check out the Vendors and non-profit displays, the outside displays on EMCOMM and Transmitter Hunts. There is a full day of events and forums to peak any interested Amateur Operator. Saturday wraps up with our banquet dinner and an inspiring speaker - you won't want to miss.
Sunday, October 18th starts even earlier in the back parking lot with our show stopping swap meet (Bring your Flashlights). Then breakfast and great trainings until the ARRL Forum closes us out Sunday afternoon.
