Good afternoon all, what can I say, St. Francis County fair has come and gone. But once again, the St. Francis County Extension office represented with style with a full and complete table offering information about 4-H(4-H agent Destenti Tinzie) Agricultural news (Sarah Stone, Agriculture Agent) and Family and Consumer Science tidbits (Marla Lane, FCS agent). Thanks again to the St. Francis fair board for allowing our office to showcase our programs and services. Until next year, St. Francis County Fair 2027 🙂!!!

Good afternoon, St. Francis Extension office had a wonderful time at Stewart and Central Elementary schools today. We had a discussion about pears. The students identified different parts of the pear, like the stem and if pears are grown on trees or a vine. Also students identified what other fruit has a stem. The answer is an apple.
