Friends and family of C/2-19 class 26-008,
We would like to inform you of the information regarding the turning green ceremony for your future soldiers on 23 January 2026. The ceremony will begin at 1000 at Pomeroy Field. Immediately preceding the ceremony is the family brief at 0900 at the Regimental Chapel. It is required for all families wishing to be with their soldiers on the turning green pass to attend the brief. For enterance onto Fort Benning you will need to aquire a visitorโ€™s pass at the visitorโ€™s center at the Fort Benning main gate (open 24/7). If you have already aquired a pass we ask that you use Cashe Gate.

The timeline is as follows:
0900: Turning Green Family Brief
1000: Turning Green Ceremony

On Friday, Bravo Company held a Change of Command Ceremony as CPT Stahlberg formally relinquished command to CPT Rollins. This honored tradition represents the official transfer of responsibility, authority, and leadership.

We extend our sincere appreciation to CPT Stahlberg for his steadfast leadership, professionalism, and lasting contributions to Bravo Company. His time in command left a legacy of strength, discipline, and cohesion.

Fort Moore is renamed Fort Benning, effective immediately.

The renaming honors the legacy of Cpl. Fred G. Benning, a Distinguished Service Cross recipient, who heroically served in Machine-Gun Company, 16th Infantry Regiment, American Expeditionary Forces, in France during World War I.
