Operating as usual
Another eventful day in the Spartans life. We finished the War Eagle Olympics with the CMDRs Challenge, Kickball, and Football. Our Spartans played a tough championship game taking us overtime and coming in at 2nd place. We are super proud as they gave it their all till the end.
Today was the beginning of the 93D MP Bn War Eagle Olympics. Our Spartans competed in the Soccer tournament where we took 1st Place 🥇. SGT Alexander from 3rd PLT, “XIPHOS ⚔️” came in 1st place for the Púgil Sticks tournament. The other competitions consisted of Tug-of-War, and the War Eagle Classic, a 5 round event for time:
3 deadlifts
6 kettlebell swings
9 hand release push-ups
12 med ball sit ups
100’ sled push
400 m run.
SPARTANS led the way!
Kicking off the week with TOC Operations so the Spartans could test their communication equipment. Also, a small group of specially trained Soldiers guide members of a tactical element during a mission in qualifying the M320, single-shot 40mm, Gr***de Launcher.
Young SPARTANS had a lot of fun this morning in the annual War Eagle egg hunt. There were over 1,000 eggs filled with goodies, art station, pictures with Mr. Easter Bunny, bubbles station, and some delicious cookies for the War Eagle families to enjoy. We appreciate all the spartan families that came out to participate in this annual event.
SPARTA had a busy week preparing for the upcoming field exercises. We finished the week off with some fun at Ascarate Park, sports, fishing 🎣, grilling, and spending time with SPARTA families.

Congratulations to SFC Moses for his reenlistment yesterday. SFC Moses is currently the 591st MP Company’s Operations Sergeant and is vital for any and all missions that the Spartans participate in!

Congrats to SGT Diamon Carter!!! She’s the first female SPARTAN to make it in the 300, 500, 800, 1000 pound wall in the SPARTAN Yard! It’s fitting that she did it during Women’s History Month.

For those who missed SFC Rowleys retirement ceremony, here is the recorded version.
Today the Spartans of the 591st MP Co held a retirement ceremony for SFC Rowley and his family. SFC Rowley had a 21 year career as a Military Police Soldier which encompassed multiple deployments and duty stations.
SFC Rowley finished his journey in the Army when he came to the Spartans and worked as the Company Operations Sergeant. He was an integral part of the team, helping coordinate all missions that the Company accomplished.
The 591st MP Co would like to thank SFC Rowley and his family to their dedication to service and wish them the best of luck in the new chapter they are about to start!

Today we would like to Recognize SPC Cooper and SPC Saballierspinell for being promoted from PFC to SPC. Their hard work and dedication to the 591st MP Company does not go unrecognized.
We would also like to say goodbye to SGT Sweeney. Today was her last day and the Spartans would like to thank her for being such a valued member of our team. We wish you good luck in your future endeavors!

Congratulations to SGT Hall and SPC Guathier! Yesterday, SGT Hall re-enlisted and SPC Guathier was promoted from PFC to SPC. Both of these individuals are well respected by there peers and represent the core values of the 591st MP Company.

It’s a great day to be a SPARTAN! Most of y’all know how busy the Military Police Corps can get, so it made my heart smile to see my entire unit finally enjoy a 4-day weekend and seeing my unit at full strength in the motorpool this morning. I’ve been blessed to lead this unit for the past 21 months and today is the first time I’m able to make either statement. “With Your Shield Or On It!” #savethebestforlast

The Military Police Regiment celebrates is 80th Anniversary with an 80 mile accumulative run.
591st Military Police Company Spartans ran 16 miles to contribute towards the 93D Military Police Battalion goal.
Though the formation is small, the Spartans are fierce! Similar to the only 300 Spartans who faced Xerxis and his Army, great things can be accomplished with a few dedicated Warriors!
