leaders and the importance of how all Garrison components combine to allow USAG Fort Bliss the continued ability to provide world class services to our Soldiers, their Families, Civilians, Retirees, and Survivors. The primary purpose of this program is to afford current and aspiring leaders the opportunity to develop their leadership skills while becoming knowledgeable in the various aspects of Fort Bliss Garrison operations. With a continuously decreasing budget it is up to the Garrisons to find cost conscious but effective solutions to leadership development. Leadership Fort Bliss is structured in such a way that as you complete one of the monthly sessions you will then return to your organization and utilize the knowledge you have gained. This will not only create a more competent leader in our organization but an ambassador for USAG Fort Bliss. The Directorate Familiarization Days will consist of 5 sessions throughout the Leadership Fort Bliss’ 11 month program. The purpose of these familiarization days will be to provide each participant an understanding of the dynamic operations that make up USAG Fort Bliss and provide them the ability to share that knowledge within their various organizations. Additionally, there will be one day to partner and tour the City of El Paso’s operations, allowing the opportunity in understanding the impact we have on our community partners.
