With NTC Rotation 24-08 winding down our Squadron Leadership had the opportunity to continue a long standing tradition by painting our unit rock and posing for photos. This unique rock formation pays homage to the tens of thousands of Soldiers who come here to train every year. It Shall Be Done!

NTC Update

Dakota Families,

We have returned from the training area and are consolidated in a staging area as we prepare to return home.

We now have access to our cell phones but remain extremely busy in preparing our weapons and equipment to return back to Fort Bliss.

We will begin returning home between the 22nd and 30th of June but the exact dates of our return are dependent on the status of our equipment and it's full recovery.

Our Dakota Troopers have been working hard for the last month; pushing themselves relentlessly, night and day through the brutal heat of the Mojave Desert. They continue to work hard but there still remains lots to be done.

We are extremely proud of every Dakota Trooper and have full confidence that we will achieve our mission so that we can return home as early as possible.

The American Red Cross relays urgent messages for military families containing accurate, factual, complete and verified descriptions of the emergency.

Today marked a bittersweet moment in the Dakota Squadron as we conducted the change of command between LTC Brice Roberts and LTC Mike Patti.

We would like to thank LTC Roberts and his family for their dedication and leadership over the last 28 months and wish them the absolute best in their next chapter within the Army.

We also want to extend a warm Dakota welcome to LTC Patti and his wife Laura.

Hatchet Troop change of Responsibility (28 Nov 23).

The change of responsibility ceremony is a traditional event meant to reinforce noncommissioned officer authority in the U.S. Army and highlight their support to the chain of command.

Today, CPT Mccaffery delivered a speech honoring 1SG Martinez and thanked him for his leadership and selfless service.

Hatchet Troop said farewell to, 1SG Martinez and welcomed 1SG Eherenman.
