🏋️♀️ Come volunteer with BOSS!!!! SOTO gym is hosting a weightlifting competition and need our help. Volunteers will help with check-in, changing weights, spotting events and helping set up and break down the event. SOTO absolutely needs more volunteers to help run this huge event, and the work isn't all going to be physical. Anyone and anything can help! Event is on April 8th at the SOTO gym at 830. 20751 Constitution Ave, Fort Bliss, TX 79918

Hello TRICARE beneficiaries!
We collaborated with the Armed Services YMCA El Paso to open a children’s waiting room for TRICARE beneficiaries in the rank of E-6 and below, who may need someone to watch their children during their appointments.
The ASYMCA Children’s Waiting Room (CWR) is located in the Patient Experience office, on the first floor of the East Clinic at our main campus. The CWR will provide a designated play space for children and families who cannot accompany their parent or sibling during their medical appointments at WBAMC.
WBAMC and ASYMCA will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 1, at 11:30 a.m. on the first floor of the East Clinic, main campus, to commemorate this historic event for the hospital and its beneficiaries. If attending, you must wear a mask.
The CWR will open for business on September 1, 2022, and operate Monday through Thursday at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Since the CWR is operated by the ASYMCA, they will provide trained childcare staff to care for the children during its hours of operation.
Eligible families who wish to use the CWR, can stop by the Patient Experience office at WBAMC to register. Registration is a one-time event and can be completed during the initial visit. Registration will begin on August 29, 2022. My Father George O. McAninch Sr. served with the 13th armored Regt ( L ) in 1939 to 1942 he was there when they formed the 1st Armored Division have his yearbook from 1941
Dakota family I’ve began my transition to Ft. Campbell. As difficult as 1st AR DIV can be at times the only thing that has made this place tolerable, were the people (Soldiers, NCOs and Officers). I have honestly met some of the best Leaders in 2-13 Cav and they will sorely be missed. SCO, CSM, XO, NCOICs, OICs, 1SGs, CDRs, NCOs and Soldiers you guys are awesome.

They say the right things but they whisper different. My little nephew is about to be crazy in d group/troop... They have an individual from hell who shouldn't be there, who disparages them for doing the right thing. These kids are afraid to say anything but it wouldn’t surprise anyone if something bad happen to this insignificant ..s. He makes their life so bad these kids are coveting to get out of the army tomorrow. This man had them made number each other, some kind of system figuring out who is worth more than others. Unbelievable. Who the heck does that. He told me this man made up his own numbers, statistic chart of some kind, put people he likes on top. The one he hates at the bottom and told them they were worthless. I am trying to be conservative and not repeat things I was told. How is it possible someone like him is allowed to be in the military around these kids?😡😡😡😡😡
Happy Thanksgiving Dakota! Before Thanksgiving ends here in Korea and begins at home, I wanted to share with you what I am truly thankful for. First, I am thankful for my life here on this Earth as I do not take it for granted. Second, I am thankful to God for blessing my life with a woman that loves me, supports me, and is devoted each day to continuing to find a way to fall in love with me all over again. Because of her, I am the man that I am today. Without her, I would not have 5 amazing children that I could not be more proud of. Third, I am thankful for my ability to serve our great Nation in the premier fighting force this world has ever seen. The United States Army has taught me so much about myself and allowed me to provide for my family. Initially joining for 4 years with the plans of doing something else afterward, has turned into over 21 years of service to my country. Along the way, I have learned a great deal from those I have come in contact with that have helped me to be a better person and to understand the importance of servant leadership. Lastly, I am forever thankful for those that I have served alongside, in peacetime and through war. Some continue to serve, some have completed their service, some were taken from us too soon as they laid down their life, all I will forever call Family. CSM Hayes
