MEMORANDUM FOR ARMY 92F30 ADVANCED LEADERSHIP COURSE

SUBJECT: Student Welcome Letter

1. Congratulations, you have been accepted into the Army 92F30 Advanced Leadership Course. The following administrative instructions pertain to your class:

a. BLDG 5515 is located on Sever Avenue (for GPS purposes, input N Scott Pl, Fort Dix, NJ 08640). Instructions for your class will be posted on the main door. WHEN: On your report date(one day prior to start date of class)

c. TIME: 1000 NLT 1630hrs. Late arrivals need to follow instructions posted on the main door. UNIFORM: APFU for in-processing, after you have been assigned a room

e. LODGING: Government Meals and Government Quarters and linen are provided (you may use your own linen). Towels are not provided. Common area latrines are utilized. TRANSPORTATION: The Philadelphia airport is the preferred airport for this class. Rapid Rover @ 856-428-1500 or 1-800-322-8062. They will pick up USAR soldiers at no cost (if, and only if, travel order funding codes are correct). They will need a copy of your orders or DTS orders(DA Form 1610). All National Guard soldiers, and USAR without proper funding code, will have a cost of $107.00 each way, payable by cash, Mastercard, Visa credit or debit cards. These prices are subject to change. If you fly into Trenton airport, you may also use Angel Transportation Group @ 609-261-0900 or United Cab Co @ 609-462-9931.

2. Uniforms, clothing, or PPE needed during the course:

a. Full APFU for time of year(if in doubt, bring warm and cold weather)
b. ACU with garrison patrol cap
c. Wet/Cold weather gear for time of year
d. Black work gloves
f. Ear plugs
g. Safety glasses
h. Civilian clothes
i. Sun screen and bug spray

3. On the first day, for in-processing, you will need to bring:

a. 7 copies of your orders
b. 7 copies of your DD 1610(IF AGR OR ON ADOS AND ON TRAVEL ORDERS)
c. 1 copy of your 1059 from your highest level class(WLC or ALC PH 1-to show you qualify for ALC)
d. 1 copy of MOSQ 1059 or orders showing 92F as your MOS, if your highest level 1059 or certificate does not show you are a 92F
e. 1 copy of you return flight itinerary, if travelling by air (No earlier than 1130 hrs on last day). f. 1 copy of return TRIPS Risk Assessment, if travelling by POV (https://crcapps2.crc.army.mil/ako_auth/TRiPS/default.aspx.) g. 1 copy of military ID, Civilian DL, and Military DL(if available), ALL ON ONE PAGE
h. 3 copies of DA form 3349 military(MMRB) medical profile, if on permanent profile
i. 1 copy of Commander’s Safety Course (link can be found at https://safety.army.mil, right side of page, Top Training Link Section). Follow instructions on link. j. 1 copy of the DoD Cyber Awareness Challenge Training - https://ia.signal.army.mil for computer access. k. Know your UNIT DESIGNATION, ADDRESS-CITY-STATE-ZIP, COMMANDER, FIRST LINE SUPERVISOR, & PHONE NUMBERS TO EACH.

4. The Army Directive for soldiers attending Professional Military Education (PME):

a. Soldiers must successful complete the APFT, height and weight screening which is mandatory for graduation. Soldiers attending the identified PME schools and courses will be administered an initial APFT, height and weight screening. If soldier failed the initial test or screenings, one APFT retest/ or height and weight screening is allowed and will be administered no earlier than 7 days after initial failure. Soldiers who subsequently fail to meet physical fitness and /or height and weight standards will be removed from the course. APFT will be conducted at 0445 hrs in complete APFU on the start date of your class.
