The Flu vaccine is available for DA Civilians ONLY.

You must present a valid CAC card at the time of visit.

An excellent Leader Professional Development session was conducted last week in the 59th Ordnance Brigade tackling real issues and an optimistic way ahead surrounding the integration of transgender Soldiers in the Army.

"We are in an ever-changing Army" CPT Mickey Williams, the 59th Ordnance Brigades Legal subject matter expert says while explaining the regulations that pertain to the integration of transgender soldiers on Friday. CPT Williams was part of a panel that consisted of four subject matter experts on the integration of transgender soldiers. Panel members consisted of CPT Mickey Williams the 59th Ordnance Brigade Judge Advocate, SFC Antonio D. Crawley the 59th Ordnance Brigade Equal Opportunity Advisor, SFC Murray a local U.S. Army Recruiter of Colonial Heights and LTC Caldwell from the British Army who have successfully integrated transgender soldiers for over 15 years. The Leadership Professional Development Brief was courtesy of 832nd Ordnance Battalion and was open to all leaders of Fort Lee, VA.

The Fort Lee SHARP team partnered with the Virginia State University to educate the future Army leaders on the importance of treating each other with dignity and respect.

Col. Robert Hatcher Jr., CASCOM chief of staff, briefs Virginia State University ROTC cadets about the Sexual Harrassment/Assault Response Prevention (SHARP) program today during a visit to the campus. Read more on this collaborative effort in next week’s edition of the Fort Lee Traveller.
