Come to the AWC Fort Lee for a walk-in BodPod TOMORROW!
The Fort Lee AWC is so excited to help you reach your health, wellness, and fitness goals!
BodPod Challenge
Beginning on July 1, the Army Wellness Center is hosting a 12-week BodPod Challenge for Soldiers, family members, (18 years old and above), retirees and DoD civilians. The challenge is to create competition and resilience among the Fort Lee population while promoting healthy lifestyle habits and overall readiness.
Two prospective winning categories for the challenge is the winner with the greatest reduction of body fat percentage and the winner with greatest improvement in lean mass percentage.
Participants must complete a pre, mid, and post BodPod assessment at the AWC between July 1 – Sept. 30. AWC Health Educators will assist participants along the way to reach desired health and wellness goals via Health Coaching appointments and other AWC services.
Army Wellness Center does have walk-in opportunities every Friday morning from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m. but are encouraged to call and make an appointment for the challenge to receive pre-test instructions.
Currently, the AWC has two Bod Pods located at 9205 Mahone Avenue, which provide valuable analysis to accurately measure body fat and lean mass changes.
To schedule an appointment call 804-734-9925. #fortleeawc
