Today’s topic: Training with industry
The US Army Transportation School offers a unique and developmental broadening assignment for active component Transporters to train first hand with private logistics companies learning commercial supply chain management techniques to bring back to the force and implement them within their units.
We got lucky! SFC Barada, who just finished his assignment with UPS, was around right before filming so we asked if he could share his experiences with us to encourage others to apply.
Applications are due 27 January 2023 to HRC for consideration and selection by the Transportation School office.
We’ll continue to highlight other great programs and opportunities available to our Spearhead Soldiers through our lighthearted video series, Coffee with the CoT!
