Sunday, May 24, 2026 - On an early evening walk around Lake Elliott, the mama Wood Duck with her two remaining babies was spotted on the one end of the upper pond and the Great Blue Heron was spotted on the opposite side of the upper pond.

April 30, 2026 - Around 1845 tonight, I spotted a male Wood Duck and the mama Wood Duck with five babies on the upper pond. I do not believe this is the same mom Wood Duck and her clutch from April 3, 2026. These babies were smaller.
