Dolly had a vision. She knew that books unlocked world to creativity and she dedicated her life to providing books to kids. 332,411,218 books to date.

As a nation, we have to carry on her legacy we have help unlock the creativity of our kids. We owe her that much.

Whew. Gut punch. 💔

Dolly Parton—the Queen of Everything—has died.

Of course I’d never met her personally but in a way, I think we all feel like knew her in some level.

She was kind. She was generous. She was inclusive. She was the absolute epitome of love, compassion, and kindness. She was insanely talented, endlessly funny, and always had just the right amount of sass. ✨

Dolly reminded us that you can be wildly successful without losing your kindness. That you can give without expecting anything in return. That you can lift people up simply because you can.

We should all strive for the kind of kindness and compassion that sweet Dolly showed the world.

In a world that can feel so uncertain and divided, she gave us a little balance, a little laughter, and a whole lot of hope.

332,411,218 books gifted to children all over the world. We will continue to gift books in her memory.
