As Thanksgiving comes to an end and the Christmas season begins, the MPs want to take a moment to give thanks for everything our installation has provided us, the support, resources, leadership, and opportunities that allow us to serve this community every single day.

Shoutout to everyone who participated in the Turkey Bowl! While we didn’t come out with the win on the scoreboard, we definitely won in spirit, teamwork, and pure determination, and that’s what truly matters.

This season reminds us how thankful we are for so much: the food (always a win), the camaraderie, the laughs, the long shifts that build bonds, and yes… even PT (okay, that part might be a lie 😅).

But most of all, we’re thankful for the family we’ve created here at the Law Enforcement Activity. The trust, unity, and brotherhood/sisterhood we share goes beyond the uniform, and that’s something we don’t take for granted.

Happy Thanksgiving from your MPs, stay safe and enjoy time with those who matter most!

A special message from our Commander as we reflect on what we’re thankful for and the people who make this team strong. Enjoy the time with your families, travel safe, and remember to look out for one another. Stay safe and have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Closing Out the Week Strong and Investing in Leaders & Readiness

This week we continued developing inspirational leaders by sending select Soldiers to the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Center in Salina to learn how to properly certify Soldiers on RADAR operations. This advanced training directly enhances our enforcement capabilities and builds confident, competent leaders who set the standard across the formation.

We also want to recognize our Commander for exemplifying the Three C’s, Competence, Character, and Commitment principles we strive to model daily. His leadership reinforces our mission and the culture we are building at Fort Riley.

At the same time, we remain focused on eliminating our 1SG’s Three D’s, Domestics, DUIs, and Drugs. Through training, accountability, and proactive leadership, we are committed to safeguarding our Soldiers, Families, and the installation.

Proud of the professionalism, dedication, and growth shown across our team. The standard remains high, and we will continue to raise it.

Over the last two months, our Law Enforcement Activity team has been knocking it out of the park here on Fort Riley. 🚓💪

They successfully completed Installation Law Enforcement Certifications, qualifying 16 new Soldiers to work the road and keep our community safe. They also produced 1ID’s NCO of the Year, congratulations, SGT Feroli! 🎖️🔥

On top of that, the team wrapped up their Law Enforcement Weapons Training and Qualification ranges, ensuring our Soldiers stay sharp, confident, and ready for anything.

Proud of the incredible work this team continues to deliver for the installation and the Division. Outstanding job, everyone! 👏🇺🇸
