Are you a U.S. military Veteran with a new idea to start or upgrade your own business? Want to turn your trade, skills, or experience into a successful business?

Applications are now open for the 2026 Veteran Business Bootcamp, a six-week virtual program designed to help Pennsylvania-based veteran entrepreneurs start and/or take their businesses to the next level. Participants will build a strategic plan, explore customer discovery and product-market fit, develop marketing and sales strategies, receive 1:1 coaching, build valuable connections, and compete for $10,000 in total funding.

Program Dates: Thursdays, 6:00–8:00 PM

A newer VA Partial Claim program⁠� gives qualifying veterans with VA-backed mortgages another option for resolving delinquent payments and remaining in their homes rather than facing foreclosure. The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act 🏠 -
Summary of Key Points:

* Wall Street Frozen Out: Large institutional investors owning 350+ homes are banned from buying any more single-family houses. This won't force them to sell what they currently own, but it stops them from buying up inventory, eliminating corporate out bidding everyday buyers.

* Modernized Manufactured Home Loans: The bill removes outdated federal building rules and instructs the FHA to rewrite its mortgage lending standards. This makes financing high-quality, budget-friendly manufactured and modular homes much easier.

* Main Street Mortgage Relief: Community banks and credit unions are getting federal regulatory relief. This cuts through red tape, allowing local banks to easily approve local mortgages and small-dollar home loans that big national lenders typically ignore.
* Township Zoning Incentives: The bill sets up a $200 million annual grant program to reward local townships that modernize strict zoning laws. Townships are financially incentivized to clear red tape and quickly permit affordable choices like duplexes, townhomes, and accessory dwelling units (ADUs)!
