🚨 TOMORROW IS PRIMARY ELECTION DAY – MAY 5TH 🚨

This is a call to action, especially for our African American community: your voice matters, and it starts here.

The primaries decide who will be on the ballot in November. That means the power to shape our future begins NOW. Small victories start with showing up — and we need everyone to take the time to vote.

In Allen County, voting is now more accessible than ever with Vote Centers. You are no longer assigned to just one polling place — you can vote at ANY of the 53 locations across the county.

Now is the time to support leaders who are truly investing in our community, advocating for our needs, and working to make sure our voices are heard.

Don’t sit this one out. Make a plan. Go vote. Bring someone with you.

Thank you to all of our members and new visitors who joined us for our April 11th monthly meeting of the Indiana Democratic African American Caucus (IDAAC) – Fort Wayne Chapter. Your presence, engagement, and commitment to our community are what make this work meaningful.

As we move forward, we want everyone to stay focused on a few key action steps:
✔ Understand vote centers and know where you can cast your ballot
✔ Make sure you are registered to vote and share that information with a family member or friend
✔ Attend a local meeting — city council, county council, or school board — and stay informed on decisions impacting our community
✔ Stay connected with IDAAC FW

Our work doesn’t stop at one meeting—it continues through consistent engagement and collective action.
