Huge congratulations to the Fort Worth Fire Department Class #100 and EMS Class #1 on their graduation today! ๐ŸŽ“

This marks the very first time these two groups are being honored together. While they represent two distinct classes walking two unique paths, they are bound by one shared missionโ€”to serve and protect our community in their time of need.

To our newest firefighters and EMS professionals, thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. Fort Worth is incredibly proud of you and honored to have you watching over our city!

Yesterday, we had two important community meetings in East Fort Worth. Here is a quick recap!

1๏ธโƒฃ At theEastern Hills Neighborhood Associationn Meeting, guest speaker, Karla Labrosse with Nativo Gardens gave a wonderful presentation on how we can beautify our outdoor spaces and embrace sustainable, native landscaping. ๐ŸŒฟ

2๏ธโƒฃ The East Fort Worth Safety Committee discussed strategies to combat illegal fireworks, street racing, and celebratory gunfire ahead of the 4th of July and upcoming FIFA events. (Sorry, forgot to take a pic of this meeting. ๐Ÿ™ˆ)

Thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke up, and continues to work toward a safer, more beautiful East Fort Worth!

Letโ€™s look out for one another and be sure to report illegal gunfire and street racing activity by calling 911. You may report illegal fireworks via the MyFW app or by calling 817-392-4444.
