Economic Development staff, along with representatives from Fort Worth's various Chambers of Commerce, are working around the clock to get #PreserveTheFort applications processed.

The first round of checks started going out yesterday (July 1), and many business owners will receive email updates within the next 48 hours letting them know whether their applications were approved.

However, there are also a number of business owners who submitted incomplete documentation with their applications. Staff is currently doing outreach to work with every business owner who falls into this category, to give them the best chance possible at becoming compliant so that they can receive this funding.

If your grant application has incomplete documentation, a representative from Fort Worth Economic Development will personally contact you over the next few days by either phone or email to let you know what else is needed. Business owners will need to work with that contact directly to finalize their documentation ASAP, so the application can be completed and their funding approved.

The goal is to have funds dispersed to businesses by early to mid-July.
