To our IAFF brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice. WE REMEMBER YOU.

We remember the courage it took to run toward danger when others ran away. We remember the families who gave a piece of themselves when you gave everything.

Your sacrifice became part of the legacy we will forever carry forward.

Every time the tones drop, every time the rigs roll out, and every time a firefighter answers the call, your memory goes with us.

To the families you left behind: your loved ones will never be forgotten. Their names will continue to be spoken with honor, and their legacy will live on in this brother and sisterhood.

The bell has rung.
The last alarm has sounded.
Your watch is complete.

Rest easy, brothers and sisters.

What an absolute honor it was to be apart of this memorial thank you to the International Association of Fire Fighters and to the Colorado Springs Firefighters for hosting an always memorable event.

Today, we remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and we honor the firefighters, police officers, EMS providers, military personnel, and countless civilians who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We especially remember the 343 Firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while running toward danger to save others.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness remain a lasting reminder of what it means to serve.

Our thoughts remain with the families who lost loved ones, the survivors, and the first responders who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars of that day.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures throughout our community. Whether you’re raising a family, mentoring the next generation, or simply leading by example, thank you for the impact you make every day.

We also want to recognize the fathers of Local 4369. Our members are proud to serve the Fountain community, but their most important role is often the one they hold at home. The sacrifices made by firefighters and their families do not go unnoticed.

To all the dads in our community and throughout our Local, thank you for your dedication, your strength, and your commitment to those who depend on you.

We wish you all a safe and happy Father’s Day.

🚨 FIRE RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED 🚨

Yes… that means you can finally stop staring at your fire pit like it’s a forbidden artifact from an ancient civilization. 🔥👀

BUT! just because restrictions are being lifted doesn’t mean common sense is too.

A few friendly reminders from your firefighters:
🔥 Don’t leave fires unattended
🔥 Keep a water source nearby
🔥 Fully extinguish fires when finished
🔥 Watch the wind conditions
🔥 If your backyard bonfire starts looking like a full-on forest fire response… it’s probably too big

We’d love to enjoy the warmer weather WITH you — not spend all night putting out avoidable fires because someone thought gasoline was “just a suggestion.”

Stay safe, have fun, and burn responsibly.

As of 12:00pm today, Friday, May 22nd, 2026, after careful evaluation, the City of Fountain has decided to lift current fire restrictions.

Your Fountain Professional Firefighters, are out today sharpening our skills behind the wheel of the department’s ladder truck.

This hands-on driver/operator training ensures our crews stay proficient in safely maneuvering and positioning one of the largest and most complex pieces of apparatus in our fleet. Whether it’s navigating tight streets or setting up for a rescue, every repetition builds confidence and readiness for the next call.

Training never stops — because when the alarm sounds, our community deserves nothing less than precision, safety, and excellence. 💪🔥

Special Thanks to the Fountain Middle School for allowing us to use there parking lot!
