Meade County Kansas Landfill & Recycle Meade County Landfill is a C&D landfill. Construction demolition materials, furniture, tree limbs, metal, and tires are accepted.

Household trash is not accepted due to the cost of transfer. Grass clippings are not accepted due to not permitted.

Meade County Recycle/HHW will be closed in observance of Presidents day Monday February 16. NOTE: that the drop off doors will still be open for drop offs but the rest is closed. No one will be there.

Meade County Landfill is already closed on Monday so no difference there.
