Stacy Ellis for Antioch Mayor and I have been running a supply drive for Open Arms Mission, and we are dropping off our donations to Open Arms Mission on Thursday Evening.

If anyone wants to join us there at 6:00 PM or request a supply pickup, please let me know. We would love to see you there.

Toothbrushes (single or double pack only)
Laundry Soap
Dishwashing Soap
Diapers sizes 2 and 6

Drop off Tuesday through Thursday 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM or Tues, Thurs and Friday 9AM to Noon. 1548 Main St. Antioch.

The Chain O' Lakes is my home through and through. This place has a sort of magic that is hard to explain. Please help me protect and support this gorgeous area, by voting me for the Fox Waterway on April 6th.

Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Today is one of those days, where we are reminded to give back to the world.

And while I hope to be doing that often, and not just today, MLK day is a great day to step back and take stock of where the world could use your help.

In the short term, Stacy Ellis for Antioch Mayor and I have been discussing ways to give back our beautiful Lake County, and have decided that for January, we are running a drive for the Open Arms Mission in Antioch. If you have anything to donate, please let one of us know, we will even pick up the supplies from you, should that be easier.

We plan to drop off the collected goods on Friday, January 29th.

As for Mid and Long Term plans, I will be sharing more information soon, but one of them is definitely dog related. 🐶

If you wish to donate, please message one of us, and we can arrange to pick up the supplies from you for drop off.

They told me that they are in the most need for the below products:
Jams & Jellies (smaller jars, not the 1 gallon tubs please)
Toothbrushes
Laundry Detergent (smaller sizes are fine, and brands don't matter)
Dish Soap

However, they help so many families, if you have anything else non perishable to donate, feel free to do so as well.

Beautiful sunset over Pistakee Lake from a few years back. Hoping the warm weather finds us here again soon.
