FPB will begin annual hydrant flushing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. This process helps maintain water quality, system reliability, and ensures hydrants are functioning properly.

Motorists are asked to use caution in areas where flushing is taking place, as water may be present on roadways. Some temporary discoloration in tap water may occur; if it continues after running your faucet, please call 502-352-4372.

Flushing is expected to last 2–3 months. For daily updates please tune to FPB Cable 10, our website www.fpb.cc, or on Facebook.
