The dates for ball league sign ups will be March 13th & 20th. We will be planning to do this following social distancing guidelines so we will not have a large group gathering at the ag building at any one time. We will post times and guidelines later.

The FS Parks Board met tonight to discuss this year’s upcoming youth sports season. The board set a tentative date for registration will be March 20th & 27th. The start of the season is still yet TBD pending some final decisions of the Parks and Ball League boards. Everyone at tonight’s meeting was in full agreement that we should have spring sports to get the kids out and back to some sense of normalcy. This will be some rules we will all have to adhere to but with everyone’s help we will be back on the fields. Thanks for your patience!

There have been questions about spring sports at the park. The Parks board will be meeting next week to discuss how we will proceed with sign ups for our upcoming season and how we will conduct practice and game situations. I think the the consensus of the community is to have spring sports but with that being said there will have to be certain rules set forth for the best interest of the well being of the kids and parents/spectators and coaches. We will continue to keep everyone updated as we move forward to get this season underway. Thanks

What all leagues do you all have for fall ball. Baseball, Sotfball etc.
What a GREAT day at the park! We had such an awesome preview service at the Franklin-Simpson Parks & Recreation. Get ready, we are just 4 months away from launching Restoration Church Franklin. With God's help, we are going to Build A Church and Bless A City! The NEXT preview service is on June 12th. More information to come.
P*e wee is giving refunds... what about Softball?
Important Information Regarding Girls Soccer: High School and Middle School girls soccer can begin voluntary conditioning starting June 15th. The dead period was originally scheduled for June 25th-July 9th has been canceled and the dead period due to COVID-19 took its place. Tryouts will be announced in July for both teams. If you are interested in playing soccer for the FSHS or FSMS Lady Cats soccer team, please fill out the appropriate form below and the coaches will contact you. We will have a Zoom parent/player meeting with the new head coaches and assistant coaches very soon to answer questions, explain how conditioning/practices will be affected by COVID-19 and how we anticipate the season to go. The date and time of that meeting will be announced soon. Players must have a current sports physical prior to attending conditioning/practices (Free Athletics Physical day info at the bottom of this post). Is there an event with fireworks in June 30?
Sure would be nice if our girls could get the same recognition
Quick question..I've started a inline hockey league and I need a location to practice..the rink up in BG is reserved for their rec leagues and even when I reserved time. Someone referred me to your park...I live right around the corner on Cedar street..the suggested your AG building..is it's a large open BB court size inside? ..I drove the park this AM it's a beautiful park (we just moved here from AZ) are the tennis courts reserveable? Could we get permission to use those? wish I could build a rink..:) and start a rec league here! Who do I talk to?
Who is in charge of the community park in franklin? And why do they refuse to open the gates, which causes major issues for the several hundred parents and children that are there all the time for football practice and games and have to fight to get through the one way traffic and park and block each side of the gates. This is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen and needs to be addressed ASAP!!!! I thought this was a community park? Why can the citizens not use it???
Has there been any ideas of an adult league? Just curious.
It would be so much easier on everyone I do believe if we did not have any softball games today. There is a basketball tournament for the middle school girls, some people are out of town, and I'm sure other people had plans thinking the season would be over already. So if by chance you could let us know early if games will be postponed till Monday fairly early today that would be great.
I'm not getting any responses from the number you gave me for the baberuth coach, if you know of anyone else you can give them my name and number Chad Clemmons from Edmonson county 2707842033 I'm looking for baberuth games. Thank you!
I'm trying to get ahold of your baberuth coach,do you have a number?
