The Department of Economic Development recently visited Way Off Broadway Dinner Theater to learn more about the next chapter of this longtime Frederick entertainment destination keeping the arts alive.

Recently purchased by Sean and Laura, Way Off Broadway continues the legacy of the family-owned theater while investing in upgrades that enhance the guest experience, including new lighting, cameras, Bluetooth sound capabilities, and advanced production technology.

As part of Frederick’s growing arts and entertainment ecosystem, Way Off Broadway plays an important role in bringing performances, dining, and community experiences together.

Fun fact: Mayor O’Connor and Laura have shared the stage before, appearing together in a production of 1776 at Landless Theatre Company in 2018! How about that!

We recently visited Kitchen and Bath to learn more about the home remodeling trends and market conditions shaping the industry.

From kitchens and bathrooms to closets and decks, Kitchen and Bath helps homeowners bring their renovation ideas to life. As the team shared, “imagine coming for door handles and you leave with a whole new bathroom designed.”

Today’s top design trends? Two-tone kitchens and green color palettes are making a statement. Despite industry challenges, including tariffs impacting international cabinet brands, the business continues to see strong demand from homeowners throughout Frederick and Hagerstown.

Check them out at 1046 W Patrick Street!
