On July 26th, 2026, at approximately 1743 hours, a black male with a beard wearing an orange trucker hat, a white t-shirt over a white tank top, tan pants, and white shoes entered the 7-Eleven located at 11801 Fingerboard Road, Monrovia, Maryland, and stole $1,078.00 worth of cash via lottery games. The suspect entered and left on foot, parking his vehicle out of camera distance. The suspect also attempted this on prior gas stations in the area before being successful.

We were absolutely thrilled to be a part of the 4th Annual Badges for Baseball event with the Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County! ⚾️🏆

There is nothing better than seeing the community come together to support our local youth. Between the mentorship, the friendly competition, and lots of runs around the bases, it was an unforgettable day on the field.

Every child deserves to walk into school on the first day with the supplies they need to succeed.

The Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack is partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County to collect school supplies for local children, and we need your help!

From today through August 10, you can stop by the Frederick Barrack and donate new school supplies. Our goal is simple:

🚓 Fill an entire patrol car with school supplies!

Items most needed include:
🎒 Backpacks
📓 Spiral & composition notebooks
✏️ Pencils & pens
🖍️ Crayons & markers
📎 Glue sticks
✂️ Child-safe scissors

Whether you donate one notebook or a backpack full of supplies, every contribution will help a local student begin the school year ready to learn.

On 6/15/2026 at approximately 3:45pm, at the Appalachian Trail, 11196 Baltimore National Pike, a theft from a motor vehicle occurred. The suspect(s) threw a rock through the front passenger side window to gain access inside of a black Hyundai Sonata. The suspect(s) stole a pink Michael Kors purse.
