Dear Members and Friends of the Kathmandu–Fredericksburg Sister City,
We are deeply saddened by the devastating flooding currently affecting communities in Nepal. The widespread flooding has caused significant loss, displacement, and hardship for many families, with some communities facing an urgent need for shelter, food, medical assistance, and other essential supplies.
At this difficult time, the Kathmandu–Fredericksburg Sister City stands in solidarity with all those affected. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, their homes, and their livelihoods, as well as with all the individuals and communities working tirelessly to provide relief and assistance.
As a Sister City community, we encourage our members and friends to come together and support those in need. No contribution is too small. Every act of kindness—whether through a donation, sharing information, or helping in any way possible—can make a meaningful difference to families facing this crisis.
