General information

The 10th Alabama Volunteer Inf Regt is a historical War Between the States re-enactment/living history organization. We are part of a larger organization known as the Confederate Military Forces (CMF), which is then part of the Southern Division. The 10th Alabama prides itself in portraying the common soldier of the Army of Northern Virginia with the most current and authentic uniforms, high standards of drill, military bearing, and our "campaign" style of camping. The unit, along with the CMF, attends several re-enactments each year and many living history programs at numerous National Battlefield Parks and schools. We also attend each year a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery, which is the final resting place for several of the original members of the 10th Alabama, and finish off our season with the Remembrance Day Parade in Gettysburg. If you think you might be interested in learning and preserving Civil War history then feel free to follow our page here for current on goings of the unit. If you are interested in joining us in the field then please contact one of the member's email addresses below.
