Today, we honor Juneteenth - a powerful reminder of freedom and resilience.

“On June 19, we mark Juneteenth, a moment in history that symbolizes the fulfillment of the promise of freedom in our country. Though the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1863, it wasn’t until June 19, 1865, that Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to ensure the last enslaved Americans were set free. Whiskey Valor is proud to announce the release of our next single barrel selection from KOVAL Distillery , benefiting the Pat Tillman Foundation

KOVAL was chosen not only for its exceptional craft spirits, but also because it calls Chicago, Illinois home—the same city where the Pat Tillman Foundation is headquartered.

This release carries deep personal significance. Luis, founder of Whiskey Valor, and Marshall, a Whiskey Valor board member, are both Tillman Scholars. Through a Pat Tillman Foundation-sponsored wellness retreat in Louisville, Kentucky, Luis discovered his passion for whiskey. Since then, he has remained committed to giving back to the organization that has had such a profound impact on his life while supporting the nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars who continue to lead and serve in communities across the country.

Each bottle includes a commemorative football helmet challenge coin featuring both the Pat Tillman Foundation and Whiskey Valor logos.
