The City of Fredericksburg welcomes its newly elected Treasurer, Marion Bowman. A Fredericksburg resident since 2005, she holds a degree in Business Management from Coastal Carolina University and brings more than 20 years of financial experience across the private and nonprofit sectors. Her career includes helping launch the Fredericksburg Field House, serving as financial manager for Loisann’s Hope House, and most recently working as controller at Breg Environmental in the Bowman Center.

She is an active community volunteer through Common Ground Church and currently serves on the board of Ars Moriendi Services. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her longtime partner, two school-aged children and their dog, Rosie. They love to travel as a family and go on outdoor adventures even if it’s just a day trip to somewhere fun in Virginia. She looks forward to serving the Fredericksburg community in her role as Treasurer.

Hello Friends! I am looking for volunteers to help out at the polling stations on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th, in the city of Fredericksburg!
It’s a fun and easy way to get involved! Volunteers will greet voters, hand out information, and show support for our campaign throughout the day. We’ll be organizing 3-hour time slots, but if you can only give 1-2 hours that is perfectly fine too.
If you can lend a hand, please send me a message or sign up through the link below — I’ll get you all the details. We’ll have snacks, good company, and plenty of gratitude!

I am honored to have the endorsement of Fredericksburg's current Treasurer, Brenda Wood. Brenda is retiring after 23 years of service to the citizens of Fredericksburg.
