The library plans to reopen to the public on an (initially) limited schedule starting Monday, June 8.

Monday & Tuesday, 9am - 5pm
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am - 1pm.

This schedule is in effect until June 19 (closed for Juneteenth); we will re-evaluate the schedule as we approach that date.

We appreciate your patience and support as we move toward resuming our ordinary schedule.

Friends, preparing the library for reopening is taking longer than initially anticipated. We'll say "closed until further notice" with the understanding that reopening will occur as soon as possible.

Don't worry about returning overdue material in the meantime. As you know, the Freehold Public Library doesn't charge late fees anyway (a few exceptions will be waived).
