Notary Public service is available at the library on a limited schedule. APPOINTMENTS are highly recommended. First two "stamps" are free; $2.50 per each stamp (cash) after first two. If your documents require witnesses, you must provide your own (staff/other library patrons may not be solicited as witnesses). All signers must have photo identification.

We at Freehold Public Library thank you, our many friends, for your expressions of concern and support. Between the calls, emails, Facebook posts, flowers, visits just to say "hello," delicious treats, even notes left in our book return! we have felt our spirits lifted.

Our membership cards say "in the heart of Freehold Borough." Your response demonstrates this has a greater meaning than we originally assigned to the phrase.

We are grateful to be reopened and serving you again, and look forward to resuming our regular schedule and programs as soon as possible. Your continued patience is appreciated.

The library plans to reopen to the public on an (initially) limited schedule starting Monday, June 8.

Monday & Tuesday, 9am - 5pm
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am - 1pm.

This schedule is in effect until June 19 (closed for Juneteenth); we will re-evaluate the schedule as we approach that date.

We appreciate your patience and support as we move toward resuming our ordinary schedule.
