The Freehold Boro Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the true identity of Evil Knievel in this video. His stunt failed and he crashed into the back of an innocent residents car then fled the scene. The Freehold Borough Police Department was proud to attend the We Are Monmouth Interfaith Meeting coordinated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. The interfaith meeting provides an opportunity for religious and law enforcement leaders to engage in discussions to strengthen relations, build trust, promote mutual understanding and foster dialogue that carries back to our communities.

Special thanks to Freehold Borough Police Chaplains Reverend Ronald Sparks and Imam Omer Kadri for participating in the meeting and being leaders in our community to strengthen police community relations.

Those looking to donate a winter coat can drop off at the church up to November 15th or at the Freehold Borough Police Department lobby.

A well deserved honor!!!

Congratulations to Edward Stuart and Samuel Fung of Boy Scout Troop 18 on reaching scoutings highest rank. At an Eagle Court of Honor, these young men were honored for their accomplishments and were bestowed upon them scoutings highest rank of Eagle Scout, a rank attained by so few. The scouts were each presented with a letter from the Freehold Borough Police Department recognizing such a great accomplishment and being leaders in the community.

It is with great pride, that the Freehold Borough Police Department announces the hiring of our newest officer. Officer Michael Crawford of Freehold was appointed as a regular officer at the October 21st Borough of Freehold council meeting. Officer Crawford is a graduate of the Monmouth County Police Academy and previously worked at the Spring Lake Borough Police Department as a (SLEO) Class II Officer and Police Dispatcher. We are very excited for Officer Crawford as he continues his law enforcement career with our agency and starts his months of field training in the Patrol Division.

These events provided our officers with the opportunity to interact with our residents and strengthen police community relations.
