Lt Ciampa Walk Out
Yesterday marked another milestone for the Freehold Borough Police Department, as Lieutenant Richard Ciampa (Badge 81) was officially welcomed into retirement with a walk out ceremony where he made his last official radio call as a Freehold Borough Police Officer.
Lt. Ciampa started his journey 25 years ago with the Freehold Borough Police Department, rising to the rank of Lieutenant, assigned as Patrol Commander. Over his 25 year career, Lt. Ciampa wore many hats, serving on the Freehold Joint Investigation Team, Quality of Life Unit, Bicycle Patrol Unit and Firearms Unit. For the past several years, Lt. Ciampa oversaw our agencies Patrol Division, Internal Affairs and Community Policing Initiatives. Rich served as past President of PBA Local 159 and was a member of the Police Unity Tour in honor of fallen officers.
We wish Rich much success as he begins a new chapter in his law enforcement career as Chief of the Morrisville Borough (PA) Police Department.

After 25 years of service Officer Rolando Ensuar gives his final “10-7” radio call to go out of service for the last time and officially start his retirement.
On behalf of Chief Dispenza and the rest of The Freehold Boro Police Department we wish you a very happy and healthy retirement. Congratulations.
On this date Officer Sean Healey made his final radio call as he starts his retirement.
Officer Healey started with our department in 1998 as a dispatcher and was hired as a fulltime officer in 2000. Through the years he has worn many hats such as Patrolman, Traffic Safety Officer, Field Training Officer, and one of the founding members of the Youth Police Academy.
When Sean started, he quickly became known as the “MacGyver” of the department. He was the go to guy for anything and if he was given an assignment he found a way to get it done. The citizens of Freehold Boro benefited from having an Officer like Officer Healey on the road.
In addition to the citizens of the Boro, our Department was a better Department by having Officer Healey here. He was more then just an officer he was brother and friend to all of us.
Sean, on behalf of Chief Dispenza we want to wish you a happy, healthy, and well deserved retirement. We thank you for your service and know you will be missed.
