After much discussion and thought, the Frenchtown Green Fair has been postponed until further notice. We are saddened that we can't enjoy this great event with you this year. We hope to host another Green Fair in the future.

Did you know that African Savannah elephants ‘hug’ after being separated? Even if they’ve been apart for only a few hours, they will sometimes greet each other by entwining their trunks and tusks. Lovely!

Frenchtown Green Fair seeks Event Coordinator and Committee Volunteers

The Frenchtown Green Team is seeking an event coordinator for the 2014 Green Fair. The fair is being held on October 4th 2014. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fundraising, vendor solicitation and collaborating with a volunteer committee, as well overseeing all vendor and corporate sponsorship communications. Organizational and computer skills are necessary. This is a 6 month flexible part time position. The position is available immediately.

We are also seeking committee volunteers to help coordinate the event. A few hours of home work and a once a month meeting is more or less what we are expecting.

Thanks to Sarah, Maria and Carter who got the trash and recycling bins set up tonight. We'll have volunteers at the Green Fair tomorrow helping you sort your recyclables and trash so we can make sure our event is as environmentally friendly as possible.
