ART - Autism Response Team We are dedicated to providing clinically sound behavior intervention, adaptive skills, and social skills training in clinic, home, and school setting.
(2)

We offer ABA services 7 days a week from 6am until 8:30pm to meet the individual needs of each family. Our service is provided across East Texas. Clinicians will arrive at your home for a consultation, and the services will be provided throughout the week by our behavior therapists. Therapy sessions take place in the home or community after school, before school, and/or on weekends. The involvement of our parents and the family members is crucial in the progress of a child, teen, or adult diagnosed with a developmental disability. Our agency utilizes applied behavior analysis in order to increase communication, increase social skills, and decrease aggression/ self-stimulatory behaviors. We involve the family, school, physician, OT/PT in our therapy consultation to ensure the most effective treatment. Our agency is funded through health insurances. There are also several grants and scholarships available. Please contact us for more information.

Bob Wallis is the East Texas region Director of Clinic Operations. We are so thrilled to have you as apart of the ART Family, Bob!

Bob Wallis comes from Lakes Regional where he has served as the head of three departments working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. He has grown the facility from zero individuals and no funding source to over a hundred individuals being served in three departments with five different funding sources. Bob enjoys all aspects of behaviorism and this includes ABA, OBM, EAB, CBT, and all the methodologies that go along with them. Before working for Lakes he managed a clinic that served children under the age of 10 years old and younger with a team of 15 staff. A total of 15 years of his life has been dedicated to serving the world of developmental disabilities.

He operates off the understanding that people are individuals and are not the position that they hold. That if you take a person’s strengths and support areas that they are weak in you see more progress in their work. In this field where their work in the trajectory of a person’s life and development there is not a more NOBLE cause to live for.

Bob is known for his charismatic personality. It based out of the understanding that families have entrusted the most valuable thing on this earth; their child. The sobering fact that they holdout faith for us to provide answers, keeps him energetically looking into more salient answers to the problems faced.

The education that Bob brings is diverse. He is has a Bachelors in Fine Arts, Completing his Masters in Psychology, and received credit hours in OBM. Bob has provided supervision for occupational therapist, nurses and first responders for their on-site training for autism spectrum disorders and loved the teaching aspect of bringing someone into a misunderstood world.

Please join us in welcoming Casey Lukacs MA BCBA LBA to our beloved ART family 💜💜

“I completed my Bachelors in Child Development in 2016 at Texas Woman’s University. I have worked with children with disabilities, autism, and related disorders since 2015. After working in several therapeutic and educational settings, I realized that working with children with autism was my calling. The bond that I could create with a person who had no words was remarkable, and revealed the depths of how much I could love working with children.
Shortly after starting my career in ABA in 2017, I pursued my masters at Ball State University in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism. ABA has become the beacon that drives my passion for changing the lives of children on spectrum. I graduated in July of 2019. Although I love working in the field of ABA, on my days off I enjoy trying new restaurants with friends and family, traveling and thrifting!”

Our Story

At ART, we provide Applied Behavior Analysis throughout North and East Texas. Through our highly skilled Behavior Analysts, we assess each individual, and implement individualized programs which may take place in any number of treatment settings; from our state of the ART Clinics, to in-Home services, Community, School, and/or whichever environment(s) is most conducive to the individual’s behavioral growth and skill development needs. Our focus is to utilize ABA services to increase Communication, Social skills, Self-Care, Sleep Routines, Feeding, and much more! Additionally, we work on decreasing aggression and self-stimulatory behaviors. We firmly believe in the involvement of the family, school, physician, and OT/PT in our therapy to ensure the most effective treatment is provided. Additionally, we collaborate with a large number of providers before, during, and following the ASD diagnosis. ART is funded through all major health insuraances, as well as a several grants and scholarships made available to inquiring families. Please contact us for our assistance and guidance through this process at 1-877-77-ART-TX. You can also email us at [email protected].

Green Oaks Education and Support is hosting an Open House from 9:00AM to 11:30AM on March 26th. No RSVP is required and you are free to come and go. Come learn about the programs offered by Green Oaks for both children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Registration for summer programs, as well as enrollment for the 2018-19 school year are going on now! Green Oaks Education and Support is Christian-based educational programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities who do not have serious medical involvement or significant behavior challenges. Green Oaks School was developed for children, teens and young adults who have not graduated from high school. Green Oaks Adult Learning (GOAL) was designed for adults who have completed their secondary education. The primary focus of Green Oaks School is to teach at the level of ability and interest of our students. We offer math, reading, writing and basic social studies. In addition, the students receive instruction in fine arts, computer skills, daily living skills and physical education. Our students are afforded the opportunity to develop life-long friendships and often make great social gains in addition to academic growth. The Green Oaks Adult Learning (GOAL) program is designed for adults who seek an environment that focuses on continuing education. They, along with their families, desire participation in a program with a continuing emphasis on academics, social skills, vocational training and additional life skills. The primary objective of the GOAL program is to provide an atmosphere of acceptance and appreciation for the gifts of the individual in a place where opportunities for continued growth and development are available. In addition, GOAL offers adults with intellectual delays a place for social interaction with their peers. Learners in the GOAL Program participate in developing their own Personal Development Plans, which are individualized. Apart from the GOAL program, many individuals are involved in outside activities such as volunteering, employment and recreation. Green Oaks School is committed to tailoring our GOAL program to meet the needs of each student. Participants can enroll for part or full days, from one to five days a week. We will be happy to offer suggestions to help you to solve transportation issues. Green Oaks Education and Support is also in the early stages of developing a new program, Green Oaks Life Prep, for individuals seeking a college-like atmosphere in which they can focus on intensive vocational training and independent living skills.
