Fruitport Community Schools is a district located in both Muskegon and Ottawa counties. We are located near Hoffmaster State Park and the beautiful Lake Michigan Shoreline. The Village of Fruitport neighbors Muskegon, Spring Lake and Grand Haven. We have one high school building, one middle school building and three elementary schools; Beach Elementary, Edgewood Elementary and Shettler Elementary. We also have an Alternative High School, Adult Education program and an Early Childhood Center. We are members of the Eastern Services Unit

🏑 Fruitport High School Architecture students are proudly showcasing their year-long Dream Home Projects!

Throughout the year, students learned to use industry-standard architecture software, REVIT, to design homes and create professional construction documents. They then brought their ideas to life through detailed presentation drawings, many of which were completed by hand!

To tie everything together, students created color boards that highlight the style, materials, and vision behind their dream homes.

We are proud of the creativity, dedication, and technical skills these students have developed throughout this impressive project. Great work, Trojans!

As the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, we thank our students, families, staff, and community for a wonderful year of learning and growth.

Please note that due to a scheduled Consumers Energy power outage on June 10, all schools will dismiss as scheduled on the half-day schedule. Building offices will close early that day. Read more below for specific office closure times and additional details.

Students in Mr. Grimm's Woodshop class recently completed the "Forged-in-Woodshop Knife Making Challenge," designing and building wooden knife replicas that showcased their creativity, precision, and woodworking skills.

Volunteer staff judges reviewed the projects and selected the top five entries based on craftsmanship and design.

Great work to all of our talented student woodworkers!
