Veteran’s Ananda is a homestead and retreat that utilizes traditional (clinical therapy, exposure therapy, group therapy, etc.) and non-traditional (i.e. acupuncture, yoga, equestrian, meditation, art, etc.) treatments and therapies to provide education, support, and care for armed service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. Veteran’s Ananda incorporates a structured, but self-paced and individualized approach to care and treatment, that also provides incentives and opportunities (i.e. jobs, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, educational benefits, etc.). Veterans deserve a place to receive rest and relax as well as alternative programs and services to turn to, as viable treatment options, beyond what the Department of Veterans Affairs and public hospitals can provide. This includes receiving holistic care/treatment(s) like: yoga, acupuncture, art therapy, equestrian therapy, dietician and nutritional classes, and the right to use botanical medicines as an alternative to prescription drugs.
