What an unforgettable experience in Washington, D.C.!
I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Institute’s America 250 Youth Leadership School alongside more than 270 young conservative leaders representing all 50 states and several countries.
Over two intense days, we received training in leadership, public speaking, political organization, communications, grassroots activism, and how to turn our beliefs into meaningful action. I left better equipped to lead, serve, and help inspire other young people to become involved in shaping the future of our country.
There could not have been a better place or time for this experience. As our nation celebrated its 250th anniversary, we were learning just minutes from the Capitol about the responsibility our generation has to preserve the principles that have made America exceptional.
The greatest part of the program was meeting so many talented and determined young people who are already making a difference in their schools, communities, states, and countries. We came from many different places, but we left with a shared commitment to defend freedom, lead courageously, and help shape America’s next 250 years.
I was also incredibly honored to be selected as one of the program’s Top Graduates. This was especially meaningful because it was the second time I have received a Leadership Institute Top Graduate pin, following my first Youth Leadership School in Boston last year.
Thank you to the Leadership Institute, our incredible instructors, and the generous donors and supporters who made this experience possible. I am extremely grateful for the training, friendships, and opportunities that I will carry with me into the work ahead.
America’s future will be decided by those who are willing to step forward, serve, and lead. I intend to be one of them. 🇺🇸
