It's Not Fiction - It's My Life Lester Leavitt is in the "third half" of his life. His standup comedy routine is a sentimental journey of self-awareness.

His recently published memoir also serves as a thesis aimed at altering the narrative about what it means to live in rural America. The title of the book, Forbidden Friends, is derived from how Lester’s upbringing in the cult-like environment of a small, hyper-religious rural community led him to see the world in terms of everything that was “forbidden.” Because he knew that he was gay by the age

I'm looking for venues that any of my friends might know of where I could get a booking for this standup comedy monologue.

I'm always available in the Tri-state area (Galena, IL; Dubuque, IA; Platteville, WI).

Madison, WI (and Racine) availability is April 30th-May 1st.

South Florida availability is from May 10th-15th.

Central Florida availability is from May 15th-18th.

Canadian Prairie Provinces (booking in early July).
