Meeting Purpose
Notice is hereby given that the College Township Zoning Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the College Township Service Center, 102 E. Brooklyn Street, Gambier, Ohio 43022.
The purpose of this meeting is to review existing zoning resolutions and consider potential updates and revisions to the College Township Zoning Resolution.
The meeting is open to the public. Residents, property owners, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide input regarding proposed zoning resolution updates.

Porter Road Closures

Porter Road will have major tree work during the week of March 16-20. The road will be closed during the day and opened back up during the evening.

DUMPSTER DAY AND SHRED-IT SPRING 2026

✂️College Township is proud to announce that in conjunction with the Village they will also be offering shredding of paperwork this Dumpster Day. The hours of Shred-it will be from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. 📰🗑️

The Spring 2026 Dumpster Day for College Township residents will be May 2 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon located at the Village Maintenance Building on the south end of Meadow Lane. Items should be separated by appliances; steel and other metal items, and trash (items that do not fit any of the above descriptions). NO HAZARDOUS WASTE ITEMS OR RECYCLABLES WILL BE COLLECTED AT THIS TIME.

Dumpster Day is funded by and open to College Township and Village of Gambier residents only. Please bring some form of identification that shows location of ownership within these boundaries. A utility bill or any form that shows your address will be accepted. Should you have any questions, email [email protected].

Special Meeting & Bid Opening
The Board of Trustees of College Township, Knox County, Ohio will hold a Special Meeting on February 27 at 5:00 p.m. at the College Township Service Center at 102 E. Brooklyn St. in Gambier, OH 43022.

The purpose of the Special Meeting is to conduct a public bid opening for the OPWC Roadway Improvements 2026 project and to review and potentially award the contract to the selected bidder.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for College Township, OPWC Roadway Improvements 2026 will be received by the Township Fiscal Officer, at College Township Service Center located at 102 E. Brooklyn St. Gambier, OH 43022 until 5:00 p.m. local time, Date: February 27, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be opened and read aloud.

Bids shall be sealed and marked on the outside of the envelope as a bid for the College Township, OPWC Roadway Improvements 2026 and mailed to College Township, P.O. Box 540, Gambier, OH 43022 or delivered to College Township Service Center, 102 E. Brooklyn Street, Gambier, OH 43022.

Project Description: This project consists of roadway resurfacing on Township roads in Knox County, Ohio. Surface treatments may include hot mix asphalt surface courses, hot mix asphalt leveling courses and chip seal applications as indicated in the plans, drawings and specifications.

Plans, specifications and bid forms may be obtained at College Township Service Center,102 E. Brooklyn St. Gambier, OH 43022. Due to limited office hours, please email [email protected] or call (740) 427-3000 to schedule a time for pickup of the bid package and delivery of the bid. Copies of the plans and specifications are available for viewing at the location cited above.
