This month, we’re sharing community updates, upcoming events, a spotlight on our BTGC team and community partners, our winter clothing donation drive, and details about our November Book Club featuring Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado.

We’re so grateful for everyone who continues to support, volunteer, partner, and show up for our community. Together, we’re building a more connected and welcoming Garden City.

Keep Your Family & Your Neighbors Warm This Season! 💗

Better Together GC is hosting a Winter Clothing Donation Drive with donations accepted through September 16th. We’re collecting new or gently used coats, gloves, scarves, winter hats, hand warmers, blankets, and socks.

• Quick Cash — 215 W. Kansas Ave.
• Hidden Trail Brewing — 2010 E. Schulman Ave.

Please make sure to check each business’s hours before dropping off your donations!

Voting is better together. Make a plan, text a friend, and head to the polls as a team. A simple reminder or offering someone a ride to the polling place can make all the difference. ✨

Tomorrow is the last day to vote early, with polls open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. If you miss early voting, you can still cast your ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Find your polling location, make your plan, and bring a friend. Every voice deserves to be heard.

Early voting is open Monday, August 3, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, or you can cast your ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, August 4, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. ‼️

Our team member Anna will be leading the discussion, so come grab a drink, connect with fellow readers, and hang out with us for a great afternoon!
