Get ready to cast a line! We're excited to announce that the Levi Heywood Memorial Library is now partnering with Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) for the "Hooks and Books" program.

Just like you borrow books, you can now borrow beginner fishing rods and tackle kits—completely FREE!

What's Included in Each Kit:
🌟 Spin-caster rod and reel
🌟 Small tackle box (hooks, bobbers, and more)
🌟 Instructional packet and local fishing information

Whether you're a curious beginner or looking to get back into fishing, this is a perfect way to try something new without the cost. No library card? No problem—just ask us about getting one!

Our Library Plant Swap is just one week away (Saturday, June 6), so this weekend is ideal for:
🌱 Dividing perennials that need it
🌱 Potting up extra seedlings
🌱 Taking cuttings from your favorite plants
🌱 Getting everything ready to share

This gives your plants time to settle before the swap, and you'll have plenty of goodies to share with neighbors!
