Justin Caraway For Garland

I join family, friends, and the entire Garland community in honoring the life and legacy of Billy Joe “B.J.” Williams.

B.J. was more than a City Councilmember. He was a devoted family man, a man of faith, a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and a tireless servant who dedicated his life to making his community better.

His leadership, wisdom, kindness, and commitment to service touched countless lives. His legacy will live on through the people he inspired, the lives he impacted, and the community he worked so hard to uplift.

Rest well, B.J. Your service mattered. Your leadership mattered. Your life mattered.

May God continue to comfort his family, friends, fraternity brothers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

“By love serve one another.” — Galatians 5:13

Your legacy will continue and you will truly be missed.

Our deepest condolences are with her family, friends, colleagues, and everyone grieving this profound loss. Mrs. Griffin will be deeply missed, and the love she gave and the difference she made will live on for generations.”
