Org Foundation

Org Foundation As a project, .ORG Foundation stems from a simple desire of its founders to make a difference in their community. http://orgfoundation.com/history.shtml

The idea of making that difference through establishing a charitable organization focused on supporting wounded US service members and their families occurred to .Org Foundation's co-founders during their basic training as Marine Corps Officers in the fall of 2011.

.Org Foundation joins Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) in honoring the 7 Marines killed in this week's training crash. The official release of names was made by MARSOC this afternoon. Among the fallen include Staff Sgt. Seif, recipient of the Silver Star medal just last week for his actions in Afghanistan that saved life of a fellow Marine.

We join TAPS in remembering:
Capt. Stanford Henry Shaw III of Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Master Sgt. Thomas Saunders of Camp Lejeune
Staff Sgt. Liam Flynn of Queens, New York
Staff Sgt. Trevor P. Blaylock of Lake Orion, Michigan
Staff Sgt. Kerry Michael Kemp of Port Washington, Wisconsin
Staff Sgt. Andrew Seif of Holland, Michigan
Staff Sgt. Marcus Bawol from Warren, Michigan

MARSOC-Always Faithful-Always Forward

The National Guard has not yet released the names of their fallen Soldiers.

10K Marine Corps Marathon Run for Wounded Troops

Here are some pictures of our 10K MCM Run took on 28 October 2012. We raised $1,702.20 during that event. We will make a $502.20 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project and a $1200.00 donation to the inpatient population of wounded troops in Walter Reed National Medical Hospital. We are updating our website with a report including all the donations we received, the receipts of the donations we made and a video we shot after the event. We thank all of you for your support and will continue to keep you updated about our work.
