People of Action!

People of Action!

At The Gillette, we believe being part of our community means giving back to it. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, one of our own and a proud member of the Gatlinburg Rotary Club helped beautify the town with American flags in celebration of Flag Day and the Fourth of July, adding a little extra patriotism and beauty to the streets weโ€™re proud to call home.

As a family-owned hotel, we love supporting the traditions that make our town special. Whether youโ€™re visiting for the first time or returning for another family vacation, weโ€™re honored to be part of a community that takes pride in welcoming others.

Thank you to all the volunteers who help keep Gatlinburg beautiful!

People of Action taking us closer and closer to Eradication of Polio!

Thank you John Downs for your service!

Here is a brief polio update of Rotary's #1 priority; The Global Eradication of Polio.

As of June 1st, there were
seven (7) confirmed cases of polio in 2026, four (4) in Afghanistan, and
three (3) in Pakistan.

During the same period last year we had 14 cases so we are showing a considerable improvement.

And finally, June 30 will end my 10-year term as District 6780 PolioPlus Chair. I want to thank each and every one of you for all you have done in support of Rotaryโ€™s #1 priority; the global eradication of Polio!
