Your Tax Dollars at Work—Waste, Fraud, or Abuse? Anyone who has ever had a backyard pool knows they can be costly in both time and money—so homeowners tend to look for the best price. Seems like the Trump administration doesn’t bother with fiscal responsibility when it’s YOUR money funding it and THEIR friends who are over-charging. Congress has the “power of the purse.” Rep. Tenney, as our representative in Congress, how do you feel about this?

The Interior Department added $6.2 million to the no-bid contract for repairs to the Lincoln Memorial pool late last week.

On June 1, 1950, Senator Margaret Chase Smith, a Republican from Maine, stood up against Republican Senator Joe McCarthy of Wisconsin and his supporters, who were undermining American democracy in a crusade against “communism.”

Saturday, May 30: Genesee Valley Indivisible at Nunda Fundays! Among the carnival rides and games (and food) we were there, promoting democracy and encouraging voters to learn more about upcoming elections, including understanding the stakes for the House race in NY-24.

Beautiful day for democracy! ☀️ 50 of us showed up at Avon Village Circle Park today for Stand Up, Fight Back Saturdays — signs high, spirits higher. Today’s theme: Defeat Tenney & We Are Patriots. Claudia Tenney supports Trump’s war with Iran, tax cuts for the wealthy, and cuts to Medicare and SNAP. We don’t. See you next Saturday! 💪
