Yesterday, our department responded as mutual aid to assist Flagler Fire on a fast-moving wildfire. Crews worked quickly to contain the blaze, which unfortunately destroyed a train bridge. We’re grateful to report that no homes or structures were lost.

This is an important reminder that we are still under a Level 3 Burn Ban—no open flames of any kind are allowed. Conditions remain extremely dry, and it doesn’t take much for a fire to start and spread rapidly.

Fires can happen at any time. Please stay vigilant, be prepared, and do your part to help keep our community safe.
