I thought we had fought all her health battles and we had arrived in Heaven on Earth. Top School District, Eanes attending Valley View Elementary, in beautiful Westlake Hills, Texas but that's where her nightmares and night terrors begin. Less than a month into school, my beautiful, strong, outgoing daughter was violently attacked, shoved into a rock climbing wall, punched in the mouth, stabbed with a pencil, then sent home bleeding on a bus! After surviving brain surgery, who knew her biggest challenge would be getting a public education without fear of violence and ongoing revictimization and discrimination! The police will not help! The school will not help! CPS will not help! Please help! Share and let the school, district and lawmakers know you will not stand for this. The violent boy remains in school administration enabled to harm other children and not held accountable for his vicious and premeditated violence, while my precious baby can't eat solid foods, can't sleep soundly, and feels devalued because the administration, police, nor CPS will not do their jobs.
