Making space to reduce stress. Moving to Florida has been tough, but it was the best decision we could have made. The cats are wondering why we didn’t do this sooner! lol 😝 Working through some physical challenges and starting a new treatment protocol. There’s a wee one on the way for my oldest nephew and niece (inlaw?). Savannah loves literature so a swaddle sack and hat she shall get. The moves are done. My arms are in agony. I can’t knit, paint, write, etc. So I decided to bake macarons! I watched a ton of videos and read all the tips. It took 2 batches to realize the oven was broken. These bad boys were a labor of love. Lots of temp adjustments, rotating, opening and closing the door, and cursing. These are simple vanilla macarons with a Sicilian cannoli buttercream, and rolled in crushed pistachios. They taste like Grandmas cannoli. Something I really needed in this self-imposed disruption.
